As I embark on creating a new herbal space in Encinitas, CA, I feel blessed and honored to have connections with so many wise teachers, healers, and mentors. Jane Richmond and John Finch of the Self-Heal School of Herbal Studies & Healing continue to be especially close to my heart.
I am drawn to amplifying the wisdom of plant medicine by facilitating a plant wisdom circle in which everyone shares their own plant stories ~ successes, surprises, magical connections, and creations. I see this as including those who cook with spices, those who tend gardens, those who wildcraft, mushroom enthusiasts and flower fairies, the witches strewing and bubbling herbs and the environmentalists, seasoned clinical herbalists and novices wanting to learn ~ all who desire a greater connection to the plants. We all have something important to say, and the plants are wonderful guides to show us the way.
